Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is a member of the IT Security Services Team, which is part of the overall IT Security organization. IT Security Services is responsible for security architecture, engineering and support of security controls, and identity and access management (IAM) for our global computing environment. The Cyber security Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day cyber-security tasks, support of our security solutions and processes, developing new solutions, and mitigating potential risks to our environment. The responsibilities of this position require the ability to utilize many technologies, tools and processes which will assist in maintaining our security services. This individual will need to be able to work independently and collaboratively across various technology disciplines (e.g., Network, Server, Client, etc.) and with global and regional teams.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Engineer, implement, and support new and existing IAM and provisioning solutions and processes
  • Provide 7x24 Level 3 global support for identity and access management (IAM) services
  • Engage support providers (i.e. Microsoft, EmpowerID, etc.) as appropriate to resolve issues and ensure continuous availability to IAM processes and services
  • Collaborate to design, integrate, test, and land new and enhanced security services, processes, and offerings
  • Understand, adhere to and execute adopted ITIL practices for Change, Incident, Problem and Release Management
  • Provide technical subject matter expertise to project teams and support teams as needed
  • Author, review, and maintain documentation required for knowledge transfer and training to successfully land new solutions into the support organizations
  • Promote the IT Security strategies and promote a culture of cyber awareness and responsibility
JOB SKILLS:
  • Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory is required
  • Scripting experience is required (C#, C++, PowerShell, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge of authentication protocols is required (i.e. SAML, LDAP, Radius, etc.)
  • Experience with an Identity and Access Management platform is highly preferred (i.e. EmpowerID)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent degree
  • 5-8 years functional/technical experience as an IT Cybersecurity Engineer, or equivalent experience
  • Attained or working toward IT Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+
  • Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities required
  • Strong communications skills; both verbal and written
  • Ability to assess and prioritize competing issues and opportunities.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and collaboratively across global, cross organizational team environments and participate in virtual projects, work requests or activities.
