Job Summary: Summary: We are currently looking for a qualified candidate to work within a team environment, supporting data integration, modeling, and Business Intelligence needs. The Data Analyst will provide data related support, data investigation, research, data management and data reporting. The Data Analyst role will troubleshoot and investigate data anomalies and issues along with working directly with the project team, to follow- through and get the issues fixed. This person will also assist in building predictive modeling to help catch issues before they arise and assist in building and support BI reporting. As our Data Analyst you will be instrumental in analyzing data discrepancies, data lineage, and assist with solving data problems. Responsibilities:Perform extensive data integration, hygiene analysis and correction within medium to large datasets, among multiple data sources Build/ test proactive validation processes to catch data integrity issues Ability to participate in meetings with project team and report findings Strong ability to troubleshoot and resolve data issues Ability to build tabular and/ or visualization reports as needed Work closely with project team to document business processes where needed Work independently and with team members to understand database structure and business processes Identify opportunities to improve data and business processes Create and document data best practices and help translate analytics into non- technical insights to help team make well- informed decisions based on empirical evidence. QualificationsNumber of Years of Work Experience: 2Required Skills:Experience with SQL scripting and SQLServer Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, analytics, reporting and modeling data (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik a plus) Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle a plus) Experience with ETL principles and Data Warehousing Excellent Excel skills are a must Excellent communication skills Passionate about data and analyzing business needs Preferred Skills:Experience with SQL scripting and SQLServer Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) Tools, analytics, reporting and modeling data (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik a plus) Experience with Relational Databases (Oracle a plus) Education: BA or BS in Statistics, Math, Computer Science, Physics or other technical related field Nuance offers a compelling and rewarding work environment.
