Job Description

Job Brief We are looking for an Data & Analytics Manager to organize our Data function and manage our team of analysts & data engineers. You will implement tools and strategies to translate raw data into valuable business insights.In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate effectively is essential. If you also have solid industry experience, wed like to meet you.Your goal will be to help our business use data to drive performance and quality. Responsibilities

  • Understand business needs and objectives.
  • Develop strategies for effective data analysis and reporting.
  • Oversee all data & analytics operations to correct discrepancies and ensure quality, define metrics & relevant data sources.
  • Build systems to transform raw data into actionable business insights.
  • Apply industry knowledge to interpret data and improve performance.
  • Manage the data function end-to-end, including business requirement gathering, solution design and business recommendation. To develop solution framework - Identify statistical techniques, implementation mechanism, tracking projects and building pilots.
  • Conceptualize modeling framework, define data requirement, create predictive variables and co-ordinate model implementation with other business partners, and create experimental designs to understand drivers of business performance.
  • Should have domain expertise in the IT domain to shape the solution framework and developing business strategies to drive incremental value to the business.
  • Should have expertise in advanced statistical techniques to validate the model outcomes and align it with the business needs and implementation plan.
  • Shape the Digital Marketing Analytics strategy to identify future growth opportunities.
  • Maintain regular communication with business to understand changes in requirements, feedbacksand recommendations
  • Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, operational risk, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization.
Provide technical direction and mentoring to a team of developers & data analysts.Requirements 10+ years of Information Technology experience with a proven track record working as a Analytics Manager or Data Scientist for multiple large Business Intelligence (BI), Data Warehouse (DW) or Big Data Analytics projects preferably in the B2B domain.Background in market research and project managementKnowledge of Python, R and SQL. Experience with ETL, data quality, data blending, data warehousing & BI tools. (Tableau, Alteryx, Talend, Pentaho, Spark,DataBricks, AWS Redshift etc.)Familiarity with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Named Entity Recognition (NER), part of speech (POS) tagging; Statistics, Machine Learning (Mahout, R, Weka, RapidMiner, KNIME); NoSQL and MPP databases (MongoDB); and/or Search (IR - Lucene, Solr, ElasticSearch).Superb communication skills, ability to work with business users/C-level executivesAnalytical skills and strong organizational abilitiesAttention to detailProblem-solving aptitudeEducation - Bachelors in Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics.
