Job Description

*If you are an Information Technology professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you Based in our Pune, Maharashtra location, you will work with Data Analytics team, interact with different stake holders ,customers spread all around the globe to get their raw data into cloud based platform and transform the data into meaningful insights. You will get the opportunity to understand their data and business. Under the supervision of our data analytics manager, you will have opportunities to grow into progressively more complex projects and agreements as your experience develops. AS DATA ENGINEER , YOU WILL:

• Provide timely response to customers RFP/RFQs, interact with them and get their data in data lake.
• Participate in the approval process to assist business owners in making informed decisions and secure appropriate approvals.
• Conduct research on best practices, performance tuning and new and effective methods of data ingestion.
• Provide direction to data owners and understand business requirements and deliver insights.
• Complete trainings to enhance your skills for effective data ingestion process.
• Review, design and do the transformations for data load.

You persist in the face of setbacks. , *REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor or master engineering degree.
• Four to six (4-6) years experience in a data engineering role.
• Snowflake , SQL and java script knowledgeable.
• Proficient in data extraction tools such as PDI.
• Able to occasionally travel (estimated less than 10%)

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Bachelor/master s degree in computer science.
• Java scripting s and snowflake certifications.
• Oracle ERP understanding would be an added advantage.
