Job Description

*.Job details:

  • Understand data and develop Analytics insights using Statistical models using Python
  • Exploratory analysis and model building to develop predictive insights (e.g.: multi-level Forecasting, time-series models, Machine learning techniques , predictive failure models, Generalized linear models, logistics/linear Regression and logit/probit model etc)
  • End to end analytics solution responsibilities within the industry or analytics competency areas for development and into production (with the help of a Lead Analytics Architect and additional analytics engineers (developers):
    • Initial solution definition
    • Exploratory Data analysis
    • Data identification, cleaning/pre-processing, completeness
    • Correlation, statistics, variable/metric id and development
    • Predictive toward prescriptive model development
    • Provides visualizations to showcase the findings and results
    • Use suitable metrics for the evaluation as per the problem statement
    • Analytics development lifecycle use dev, test, prod
  • Apprising the stakeholders about project(s) status on a regular basis
Desired Skills and ExperienceMust Have
  • Bachelors in IT/ software engineering
  • Masters /Industry standard certifications in Data science/ machine learning
  • Strong to expert knowledge of Python use of any Python IDE is an added advantage.
  • Hands on experience on Databricks or any other cloud platforms for data science tool development and deployment.
  • Hands on experience in RUL model, XGBoost and other tree-based models
  • Well versed with handling tabular/numerical data
  • Prior experience in hands on development of analytical models, including data-driven metric, variable identification, creation and impact/priority development, as input to the model(s)
  • Able to perform drill down analysis of key business problems, interpret results, generate insight and recommend strategies, into solution development completion
Preferred:
  • Data understanding and analytics design work done experience across at least two industry areas- Automotive, Manufacturing, Technology, Retail, Finance
  • Experience in working in Machine learning/Pattern recognition/Object detection/data visualization/ results evaluations using suitable metrics. Knowledge of deep learning is an added advantage.
  • Understanding of Spark framework and cluster computing is good to have
  • Experience on automating Data Science models and creating pipelines is preferred
  • Effective analytical, oral and written communication and presentation skills, including in development of PowerPoint presentations
