Job Description

  • Good at Linux Administration
  • Experience in Redhat7, CenOS and Ubuntu flavor of Linux
  • User, File management with permission
  • Networking in Linux
  • Linux proxy server
  • Software installation
  • Linux admin level troubleshooting
  • Experience working with Percona DB server
  • Percona Toolkits
  • Backup and recovery using MySQL dumps and Percona tools(Xtrabackup)
  • Extensive knowledge of RDBMS concepts and hands-on experience on MySQL.
  • Complete understanding of MySQL Architecture & Clustering
  • Capacity Planning and sizing & patching
  • User and database security management i.e. creating groups, users, roles, granting permissions, policies etc.
  • Proficient in database backup and recovery models and DR strategies.
  • Expertise in HA techniques like Log Shipping, Replication, Database Mirroring and Clustering.
  • Monitoring database/server alerts/requests and resolve them within the agreed timelines.
  • Upgrade/Migration of MySQL Server from earlier versions to the latest versions.
  • Well experienced with SQL DB migration
  • Experience in creating and handling MYSQL cluster environment
  • Ability to take end-to-end ownership of the project.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication is must.
