What you will doThe primary responsibility for this role is to lead Building Management System global projects, detailed engineering as per country specific standards by keeping operational parameters within budget. Maintain project quality, on time delivery, handle second level escalation. Handle team of 10-12 engineers, mentorship and monitoring of team members competency development.You have to review Inputs, resource planning, engineering supports, QC check and on time delivery of projects.You will work closely with team members to deliver submittal on time with qualityYou will Co-ordination with customer and able to propose a solution for the project and is responsible to ensure that projects are executed within the committed schedule and cost to meet the customer requirements.Identify potential issues/risks and bring them proactively to customer for propose a mitigation to the risks identified.How you will do itYou should be hands-on working closely with your peers in Fire detection & Security system design, engineering & programming in the company to deliver best of breed solutions with your technical expertise. You will be responsible for below critical functions in helping us to design leading projects.Review project inputs and specification; should be able to capture the scope and understand the complete requirements of the project.Co-ordination with customer and able to propose a solution for the project and is responsible to ensure that projects are executed within the committed schedule and cost to meet the customer requirements.Preparation and participation for project kick-off / review meetings with technical queries and scope clarification and record minuets of meeting.Identify potential issues/risks and bring them proactively to customer for propose a mitigation to the risks identified.Escalate issues in the right time, so as not to affect the project delivery schedule; any escalations with respect to scope-creep must be clearly backed up with evidencesEnsure errors are monitored and take corrective action/preventive action to meet quality standardsProper Resource planning for each projectsMonitor and control assigned work scope against the project plan, highlights changes to the baselines and monitor on utilization of TMHelping estimation team for critical estimation supportEnsure timesheet compliance with respect to entry and review for self and teamMentor and train project team members and closely work with manager to provide necessary trainings based on gapEnsure EBIT discipline and ISO processes adherence.Weekly/Monthly customer reporting for project progressApprove GATE Expense for OLS Teams.SFDC close out data.Keep operational parameters at desired level for all assigned projectsDrive innovation and continuous improvement in order to form high performance culture in team.Apply individual quality standards and work processes by different customer segments/key accountsActive participation in organization employee engagement initiativesMust be a quick learner & should have a keen eye for problem solvingProficient in written and verbal communicationAbility to demonstrate good leadership skillsWhat we look forBE/ME (Instrumentation / Electrical / Electronics / Electronics & Communication)Must have 9 to 10 years of relevant experience in Security & Fire Engineering in Building Automation SystemDesign the system as per customer requirements and NFPA 72 guidelines. Design/Program Security systems after understanding customer requirements, coordinating with project manager/ project engineer from branch and team members.Generating final hardware submittal containing engineered floor plans, voltage drop, battery calculation sheets, cut sheets for devices, wiring details, security risers, etc.Overall Fire Alarm, Access Control & CCTV system planning. Product selection as per the requirement mentioned by client.Understanding fire and security Specifications and tender documents. Preparing Engineering BOM.Installation, Commissioning and Testing of CCTV, BMS, Fire Alarm & Access control system equipment sSelf-motivation, tenacity, flexible and reliable in approach to workAbility to work exceptionally effectively in a team environment is required.PreferredWork experience on Access Control System like P2000, Software house & third party product.Well knowledge of Video surveillance, Intercom & Intrusion system.Knowledge of Fire Alarm System Must have experience on Notifier, Simplex & EST (Edward).Knowledge of ACAD, Visio (Latest version), Excel for battery calculations.Knowledge of IFI, IFA, Fireworks & Metasys graphicsWell known of Verifier tool for Fire programming.,
