This role is part of the new VSS IT team within Vodafone Shared Services (VSS). Contributing directly to one of Vodafone s core values being &ldq innovation hungry , the Innovation& Research Specialist explores technology trends for shared services industry and evaluates them in terms of business benefits for Vodafone Shared Services.The Innovation & Solution Design Specialist is required to be a technology major and certified in Automation technologies - the role requires certification in RPA technologies like Blue Prism or Uipath and must have experience in scripting technologies. the role is a senior role and will be required to engage with senior stakeholders on engagements. the role is to define the solution design ofprocesses and build requirements for automation.For the most promising technology trends the Innovation & Solution Design Specialist drivesan in-depth feasibility assessment together with VSS business partners and develops marketable solution prototypes (Proof of Concept). For the successful implemen tation of the Automation projects, the Innovation and Solution Design Specialist is responsible with the Technical Readiness ( in line with solution architecture for the selected technologies) delivering the Technology and Infrastructure Design documents and following up with the operational teams to ensure infrastructure & connectivity readiness for each stage of the project. The role works together with the IT Delivery Manager throughout the entire project stage to ensure the Technology and Infrastructure Design documents are strictly followed and produce the expectedefficiency increases documented in the project scope. The Research and Innovation Specialist is responsible with the creation of the Business Continuity Plan to ensure the max imum availability of the Process Automation Technology.All the Architecture and Design documents produced by the Specialist, as well as Proof of Concept documents for specific technologies will be in compliance with the Information Security and Business Continuity policies of Vodafone.Co re competencies, knowledge and experience [max 5]:
