Job Description

  • Provides multi-level Technical support for diagnosing, reproducing and fixing Storage Hardware and Software issues/problems.
  • Respon sible for managing Storage Infrastructure related Incidents/Service Requestsan d Change Requests within the defined SLA. High level of proficiency in Storage administration and Troubleshooting,
  • Maintain reports on disk utilization, availability and growth patterns.
  • Provide recomm endations to improve the Storage infrastructure and address/lead critical issue s and root cause analysis.
  • Actively contributes to the config uration, layout and performance tuning of Storage Infrastructure. Perform neces sary Storage infrastructure maintenance activities and data migration, as requi red. Ability to identify scalability, performance and integration issues and pr opose optimal solutions.
  • Should be able to collaborate across products/vendors and geography to come up with a compelling solution.
  • &nb sp; Should be able to provide technical guidance to other teammembers.
  • May be required to work as on-call support to provide 24x7 suppo rt
  • 5-8 Years of Storage Admin experience
  • Highly Skille d in Administration, Migration and troubleshooting of HP3Par , EMC VMax, VNX , VPlex, Xtream IO Storages
  • Good hands-on on upgrade pro cess of above storage systems
  • Excellent knowledge of hardware and s oftware components in Storage domain
  • Fabric Administration/Troubles hooting/ Implementation/Upgrade Cisco/Brocade
  • Administration of Hit achi/ NetApp Storage
  • Good Hands on experience on multiple UNIX /Win dows flavours
  • Understanding of High Availability Products like - Vo lume Manager (Native/VxVM), Cluster softwares (VCS, SUN clusters, HP MC-Service Guard)
  • Shell/Perl Scripting knowledge for automation
