Position Details Position Deputy Manager - MQA, Transaxle Business Unit/Division MVML - XUV500 Power train Reports To Manager - MQA, Power Train Place of Posting Chakan Responsibilities & Key Deliverables Gear & shaft machine shop quality .Gear Soft & hard stage machining quality parameters .Gear inspection & approval for production shop .Analysing line rejections and taking CAPA, .driving new gear t developemnet Quality function, .Process parameter monitoring and controlling, .Co-ordination with Production, Plant Engineering, SQA, CQA, Suppliers and other stake holders for ensure highest level of product and process quality, .Continuous improvements with process changes, new model, variant introduction adaptation with Quality system adherence, .driving problem solving tools like QC Story methodology, G8D, 7 QC Tools, DOE, SCAP, etc .well trained for APQP & DCP. .well acquinted with Transmission gears Quality systems. .Practicing ISO & QS Sysems. .Ensuring adherence to SPC & MSA Culture & drive across .Focus on Humen Erorr Prevention methods Job Requirements Experience (years) 2-5 years in gear Machine shop manufacturing quality Industry Preferred Automobile / Gear Manufacturer / Transmission Power train System manufacturer Qualification BE Mechanical / BE Production ( Certified ISO / QS Auditor will be advantage) Personality Traits Competencies 1) Leveraging human capital 2) Communication skills 3) Analytical Ability 4) Problem solving skills 5) Result orientation with execution excellence General Requirements 1 Knowledge of transmissions, transaxles gear & shafts manufacturing 2)Knowledge of Heat Treatment 3) Knowledge of Gear Inspection machine (klingerberg / P26 gear inspection , CMM etc) 4)Knowledge of latest assembly process (transmission) 5) Knowledge of quality systems 6) In depth understanding of Gear manufaturing, Heat Treatment & Housing machining Quality requirements and standards. 6) Person is required to work in shifts. Functional Competencies / Skills critical for the job Should have good knowledge of gear machining process, . Design & Conduct hands-on training sessions and multiskilling plan of workmen through OJT for various Quality Topics like measurement , layout inspection Good knowledge of gear inspection processes and statistical tools. Should have good knowledge of gear Heat treatment & laser welding process . High Communication & Interpersonal skills (relationship building with entire team) with good leadership qualities. Process Oriented & Quality Conscious. Good Knowledge of TPM QM, Names of Companies from where we can get this talent . 1. Other M&M Plants where transmission / engine assy takes place, 2. Any other Auto OEM where transmission assy takes place (Tata Motors / Fiat / Maruti / Renault etc) 3.
