Ensure that the lessons learned from product families are shared with the platform team (COE, CDMM etc) for new product development as input for prevention of repeated known issues Provide support and involvement in new product development improvements through early involvement into product development Process and completion of joint PPAP with CDMM Drive collaboration with suppliers to improve manufacturing processes and deploy processes and tools. Monitor supplier performance measurement, supplier audits and Supplier Corrective Action Request (SCAR), etcDevelop and ensure implmentation of process norms for management of suppliers by - Verification of products and services from the suppliers. - Evaluation of performance of suppliers and monitor the improvement plans - Enhance technical capabilities of vendor through systems and knowledge upgradations Review, Analyze and implement results of quality audits at all locationsPerform the role of a people manager for the team - Manage and support recruitment, set KRAs for direct reports, monitor overall teams KRAs, conduct performance appraisal, ensure clarity and delineation of individual roles, appropriate delegation of responsibility - Facilitate the development of subordinates through constant on and off the job learning, job rotation, etc - To guide, motivate and develop the sub-ordinatesEducation:Diploma in Mech engg/Prod BE/B tech (Mech)/Prod Experience:Diploma in Mech engg/Prod 10 to 12 yrs BE/B tech (Mech)/Prod 8 to 10 yearsFunctional Skill required:manufacturing process knowledge of Clutch, Clutch master cylinder, Duel mass flywheel and well conversant with parts and process knowledge like Gears, Synchro, Shafts shift system and etc. Conversant with Gear box and clutch failures Conduct structural reviews of current part development along with CDMM as per MQS/MAQS guidelines.
