DescriptionThe Cyber Security Specialist focusses upon the provision of cyber security activities, aligning global cyber security risk reduction with local market business and technology priorities and to the global cyber security strategy to be implemented in the local market/s. The Cyber Security Specialist has a good understanding of established concepts and procedures in protecting Vodafone from security threats, reducing risk across Vodafones technology infrastructure and implementing security controls across Vodafone with a single design. Typically reports to the Cyber Security Manager.#_VOISJob ResponsibilityCore competencies, knowledge and experience: Minimum of 5 years IT experience with at least 2 years of hands on experience on Imperva WAF or equivalent (i.e.: Imperva, Citrix, F5, Radware, Trustwave, Barracuda etc.) Must have hands-on experience with WAF administration, Policy fine-tuning, Onboarding web apps to WAF, report analysis and providing recommendations of future configurations and rules Exposure knowledge of WAF integration with SIEM technologies (i.e.: Splunk, ArcSight, etc.) Expert knowledge of SSL Inspection, Access Control, Policy Management, TCPIP layer 3-7 and general networking structures Previous experience as a Network Administrator Network Engineer a plus. Understanding of Network Firewall technologies and operation Knowledge of programming languages a plus (Python, Perl and Shell scripting etc.) Knowledge in Cloud WAF Platforms and general understanding of Cloud Providers A good understanding of OWASP Top10 vulnerabilities, its countermeasures and recent cyber-attacks in general Operating knowledge of ITIL (ITIL Certification a plus) Skilled in the areas of server log analysis and understanding of common analysis techniques and tools Validation of Root Cause Analysis (RCA) Plan & Execute Complex ChangesSkillsSecurityRisk and Compliance,
