Job Description

You are a Production Designer with a good eye for design and top-notch production skills. You have a positive attitude and are very flexible, able to change direction at a moment s notice. You have a solid grasp on creating final production files using Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and InCopy. We finalize the English versions of design projects in Evanston, USA. You will be responsible for producing all the other languages needed implementing the proper fonts and making sure the right text is styled and in the right area of the layout. You will be in charge of creating up to 8 different language versions for each project.You are willing to learn, but also willing to offer advice. You are a clear communicator and always empathetic to the other partners on your team.This position will provide desktop production help to localize projects into multiple languages.

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in graphic design or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3-year experience working in a graphic design production role
  • A keen eye for typography, composition and color
  • Expert knowledge in the preparation of production ready files using the Adobe Creative Suite on an Apple platform
  • Extremely detailed mindset and able to proof own work
  • Ownership of your work
  • Honesty and integrity we re all human you own up to your mistakes so you can build and grow stronger in your skills and relationship within the team
  • Extremely well-organized work process, letting nothing fall through the gaps
  • Strong English communication skills will be working with a core team in Evanston, IL, USA that speaks mostly English
  • Flexible mindset able to jump from one job to the next at a moment s notice without getting flustered
  • Experience working across time zones. The main team, in Evanston, USA, is a half-day behind the time in Pune. Clear communication using email and our project management software is essential.
