Job Description

Designation: Desktop Support Engineer 0-2yr expLocation: Pune, Mumbai, NashikExperience: 0-2yrSalary: 10k-15kJob Description:1.Need to provide support to Dell, Acer, HP laptops2. Handle daily technical support activitieson filed3.Any Graduate & Diploma in HW & NW4.Candidate should have good experience in Troubleshooting, configuration and installation.Good technical skills along with team handling experience.

  • Desktop and hardware maintenance.
  • Provide investigation, diagnosis, resolution and recovery for Hardware/Software related problems, when unable to resolve, escalate to second or third level in accordance with Help Desk escalation processes.* Maintain overall ownership of users issue & service ensuring that they receive resolution within time frame.* Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls.* Manage service requests, software installations, new computer setups, upgrades, etc.* Record incident resolutions in the Help Desk tool.* Provide enhancement request feedback to IT regarding technology environment and customer needs through the defined processes.* Support the following technologies: Microsoft Office Products - Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, Internet Explorer, MS Windows OS, Desktops, Laptops, Printers, NICs., Basic LAN/WAN connectivity and other as assigned.* Handle 150 + internal and onsite employee strength* Proactively monitor Incident, Email notification, System alerts.* Ability to work independently and in a team environment.* Communicate well with internal and external contacts.* Should be able to provide support on phone call for remote users & well versed with remote connection tools.* Maintain latest technical/functional/managerial skills (as appropriate) required based on the companys technical strategies* Follow the Companys Policies and ProcessesEducation, Experience and Abilities* Preferably BE - Computer / Electronics or similar.Candidate should have knowledge on Active Directory, DHCP & System Administration.* Candidate should have Knowledge on Microsoft Windows environments.* Candidate should have knowledge on Networking (CCNA basics).* Should have knowledge in troubleshooting OS, Anti-Virus, Printer, LAN and resolve day-to-day desktop issues.* The ability to solve complex technical problems and work in a challenging environment* Excellent verbal and written communication skills along with strong interpersonal skills* Understanding of object-oriented analysis and design and skills in database design* Should be a good team player* Ability to guide team members on technical issues
