Job Description

Good verbal and written communication in English Language with an ability to express and understand complex technical conceptsDesigning, documenting, and reviewing communications and real time based software applications. Develop software according to functional and technical design specifications. Participate in design and code reviews/inspections. Provide input to technical discussions; propose solutions and alternatives. Analyzing, trouble-shooting, and providing code fixes for reported problems and change requests. Writing and executing unit tests. Developing proof-of-concept prototypes; Providing work estimates Provide assistance to testers and support personnel as needed to determine system problems Should have can do attitude and initiative to start and complete the assigned activities.Required

  • Qualification - B.Tech or MCA
Must have 5-7 years software development experience Platform: Linux, Embedded Linux Strong hands on Embedded C, C++ & Data Structures programming Strong hands on experience in Linux based Board bring up activity for Intel and ARM Architecture. Must have experience with Yocto based Embedded Linux BSP development Strong hands on experience in Linux build & boot process, device tree, U-Boot/GRUB bootloader Good exposure and understanding of hardware and basic peripherals like Ethernet, UART, GPIO, RTC, Flash memory, Watchdog timer etc. Worked on communication protocols like RS232, RS485, TCP/IP, I2C, SPI Strong hands on experience on Linux Device Drivers and other kernel internals Strong hands on experience in Linux System programming- Inter process communication , file handling , socket programming Working experience in GITHUB, JENKINS Minimum 5 years of work experience on Embedded Linux platformMinimum 2 years of work experience on Yocto , Bitbake, Linux Scripting, CMAKE Minimum 3 years of work experience on BSP development on Intel and ARM processor experience and Linux Cross Compilation experience Nice to have experience on BACnet/LON/ZigBee/Wifi experience Nice to have Building/Industrial Automation Domain experience Knowledge of software development life cycle. Use of UML Understanding of Agile (Scrum) methodology Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
