Please discuss the detail of the working pattern options for the role with the hiring manager.Introduction:As Barclays F# Developer you will be a part of Market Risk IT which is developing a new strategic capital charge calculation platform called Variance catering to all asset classes. It provides risk manager and regulators with RWA and Capital charge information through reports and interactive UI. As part of the solution, we are developing a strategic infrastructure component to accommodate and simplify process execution across large number of servers.What will you be doing Work closely with key project stakeholders to design and implement F#/C# solutions, including user interfaces using appropriate development tools. Own & drive technical delivery of complex requirements with support from other developers. Work on design & implementation of changes needed for integration/migration of these applications with strategic systems using .Net technologies. Analyze business requirements to produce appropriate design documents as required. Handle technical escalations from RTB (Support team) based on priority/criticality.What we re looking for:Experience working in an Investment Banking environment for greater than 3 years Ability to work independently and proactively. Ability to build productive working relationships with other IT groups, business users and support teams, both locally and in other global regions/time zones. Excellent problem solver and graphical user interface designer. Stellar communicator. Experience using tools DevOps tools like JIRA, GIT, TeamCity, etc.Skills that will help you in the role:5-8 years of development skills in one of (or both) F# or/and C# Significant interest in functional programming (F#) Practical experience of project delivery Good time management, prioritisation and ability to meet deadlines and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills across all levelsDesirable skills/Preferred Qualifications: Familiar with any functional language, e.g. F#, Scala, Haskell, Clojure Familiar with NoSQL database solutions, e.g. MongoDB Familiar with UI/Web development Experience of working in an Investment BankWhere will you be working Pune Be More at Barclays At Barclays, each day is about being more as a professional, and as a person.
