Technical responsibilities include translating business requirements into functional stories, zero touch deployment for both VNF and CNFs based applications on edge and public cloud infrastructure like AWS, simplification through remote management driven by API based design to enable automation, infrastructure and application in-service upgrades, development of single monitoring endpoint for multi-tenant services running on cloud to manage and troubleshoot mass scale distributed 4G/5G on-prem, edge appliances.Develop layered stack of cloud technologies that enable the rapid deployment and seamless service creation using microservices-based applications on Kubernetes (K8s) cluster. Build redundant and highly available. Embed security in the infrastructure to access, manage, configure and troubleshoot massive number of edge deployments through a single pane of glass management running on the public cloud infrastructure.While working on above technical solutions, identify gaps between product capabilities and contribute to the architecture to bridge gaps, design features, review code and ensure higher standards of code quality. Significantly influence the design of interfaces between products to ensure interoperability and upgrade/rollback paths.Project responsibilities include working with local and remote teams to come up SW Functional and Design Specifications, test/automation requirements. Play a pivotal role and handle customer escalations. Increase the development/test efficiency and effectiveness through review of customer found issues and application of appropriate mitigations i.e. technology, tools, and continuous integration.Minimum Qualifications10+ years of experience in high level and low level designing for enterprise applications for scalability, high availability and geographic redundancy requirements.Devops and cloud based CI/CD framework experience is a MUSTServer data center networking experience is a MUSTLinux system / kernel knowledge is good to have5G/4G 3GPP Domain knowledge is good to haveand Ansible knowledge is good to haveWorking knowledge on helm charts, Kubernetes, Dockers, OpenStack is good to haveDesired SkillsSelf-motivated and works with minimal supervision. High initiative and sense of ownershipDemonstrate ability to work across various functional groups within an organizationShould have worked with Development methodologies like Agile & Scrum is a plus.Learn new technology quickly, think on feet, and demonstrate very strong problem solving skills.Familiarity with processes to include open source software in the product deliverables.Exposure to working in a globally distributed environment.Custom protocol development based on existing 5G and 4G specifications to realize E2E use case is good to have,
