• Hands on IaaS tools Terraform/Ansible
• Day to day technical support of FIS s Default Manager platform
• Support all technical aspects of distributed environment consists of technologies Docker, Tomcat, IIS based on MS Windows, and Linux
• Own and ensure the tickets such as incidents, service requests and change requests are serviced in an appropriate and timely manner
• Work closely with the client experience and infrastructure teams to ensure the application availability and quick turnaround of issues
• Timely escalate issues to the next level or vendor
• Establish and use monitoring tools to manage and address environment issues in a proactive and timely manner
• Function as a primary / backup on a rotational basis for weekend on call and maintenance tasks
• Code deployment (Maintenance) / Release Implementation for multiple application with Jenkins/Harness/Octopus
• Deploy code to UAT/QA and Production environments
• Hands on with Orchestration tools for Application updates/patches as required with GitHub/Bitbucket/Gitlab
• Work on delivering Projects & Other Assigned Tasks
• Contribute in the quarterly disaster tests for client with other infrastructure teams
• Take automation improvement initiatives to reduce manual tasks improving efficiencies
• Lead process simplification initiatives to remove complexity and improve ease of operation
What you bring:
• Exposure supporting Java application environment hosted on private cloud, log and thread dump analysis
• Hands on experience on Apache Tomcat and IIS including configuration, deployment, configuration and troubleshooting
• Exposure working in docker based environment configuration and troubleshooting
• Exposure with writing SQL queries for relational databases
• Hands on experience in Unix shell scripting
• Basic understanding of Unix administration commands and troubleshooting
• Ability to work in ITIL based process-based support environment
• Motivated self-starter; can work with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and service-oriented environment
• Weekend/evening support
