Job Description

Position Summary: The DevOps Engineer will contribute in the DevOps activities in building the software products in the area of Deployment Monitoring Solutions , working as part of SCRUM team. These applications are fully developed at the Pune R D Center and are used globally in hospitals and cancer centers.

Job Description

Position Duties:

  • Write / update / manage the software installers.
  • Create and maintain the CICD pipelines for multiple SCRUM teams.
  • Liaise with global DevOps team to understand organizational practices and adhere to them.
  • Manage multiple branches and packaging backlog within SCM system.
  • Optimize automated build systems

Qualifications Required: BE , MSc , MCA , Computer Science or related discipline.

Number of year s related experience 5- 8 years

Special Knowledge / Skills: Required:

  • More than 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer.
  • Experience of build , release and deployment on Microsoft technologies.
  • Windows Installer (MSI) technology with application packaging tools - WIX (3.x/4.x) , etc.
  • Experience with Powershell is must.
  • Build tools - MSBuild/Nant/Ant/Maven , etc.
  • Version control tools - Team Foundation Server (TFS) / GitHub / Git / Bitbucket / SubVersion , etc.
  • Continuous integration tools - TeamCity/Jenkins/TFS Builds , etc.
  • Artifact management tools - Nexus/Jfrog Artifactory , etc.
  • Package management tools - Nuget , etc.
  • Virtualization planforms/tools - VMWare vCloud Director/VMWare vSphere/HyperV , etc.
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Desired:

  • Should have experience working with Agile methodologies.
  • Hands on experience on C#.NET/JAVA programming.
  • Experience using cloud platforms - Azure/AWS , etc.
  • Experience using containerization tools - Docker/Kubernetes/Windows Containers , etc.
