Job Description

In this role, you have the opportunity toYou are responsible for installation, maintenance, support and troubleshooting of the test configurations for PHILIPS Diagnostic Imaging (CT, MR, Diagnostics X-ray) products. You are knowledgeable in the areas of mechanical/electrical installation work, characterization of system behavior and performance and good documentation practices. As DTE Engineer you are the so-called Installation Responsible Engineer of the test configuration, which means that you are responsible for the electrical safety of test configurations.You are responsible for

  • Safe working environment for all personnel in thetest configurations
  • Installation and maintenance of thetest configurations
  • Integration of hardware and software components/subsystems into the test configurations
  • Support development teams with interoperability settings of test environments
  • Calibration and adjustments of the test configurations
  • Baselining the performance of the test configurations
  • Documenting the configuration and status of the test configurations
  • Support analysis and debugging of problems reported with the test configurations
  • Analysis of root causes of image quality (IQ) problems, like spikes, ghosts and spurious signals
  • Determine root cause of scan aborts or other development related problems
  • Coach colleagues on various DTE related aspects
  • Maintain extensive product system knowledge over various configurations
  • Time and cost efficient control of the test configurations
  • Planning and allocation of test configurations
  • Managing incoming and outgoing goods flows from and to the development departments/teams and development projects (e.g. placement of orders, manage shipments, receive and inspect incoming goods, documentation in configuration management tool)
  • Manage stock for the test configurations
You are a part ofDiagnostic Imaging team. Philips HIC, Pune is playing a key role in Philips global strategy for Diagnostic Imaging. With Philips HIC the foundation was laid to touch billions of lives and reiterate Philips commitment towards Indian and growth healthcare markets.To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Completed engineering study at bachelor level in Electronics/Electrical and/or Mechanical/Mechatronics with 5+ years of relevant experience
  • Expert in Electrical and/or Mechanical Hardware Testing
  • Experience in Electronics/Electrical and/or Mechanical/Mechatronics design projects
  • Ability to understand and debug problems across hardware/software boundaries
  • Experience with International Medical Quality and Regulatory Standards e.g. IEC, FDA, UL, CE, CSA, BIS etc. is a preference
  • Experience in servicing medical devices e.g.MR, CT, X-Ray systems etc. will be added advantage
  • Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently
  • Able to deal with and handle stress/ad-hoc situations
  • Ability to present ideas and to convince project team members
  • Structured and self-organized
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Team player and driving for results
  • Quality mindset in documentation
