Job Description

• Working with the Securly Team is a unique and exciting challenge because you are involved in projects from the ideation stage all the way through to execution.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor or Master s degree in Computer Science or similar areas
• Total experience of 15-20 years, should have hands-on development experience in JDK 8 +, Core Java and J2EE with proven expertise in writing application architecture and core design ground up with sound algorithmic thought process enabling bullet-proof product performance in terms of key drivers like security, load, scalability, Enterprise grade App server experience Weblogic, JBoss
• Hands-on experience in Web services (SOAP, REST, WSSI), Multithreading, Spring MVC, SpringBoot, Data structures and ORM Frameworks (Hibernate/JPA)
• Versatile experience with delivering highly available services on multiple technology stacks in traditional data centres, public clouds, and private clouds.
• Strong technical depth across Microservices, SpringCloud, Open Source technologies, design patterns, architecture, databases (PostgresSQL or SQL preferred) , DAO, JVM performance tuning, Java stack - depth in several areas, and breadth and interest across a much larger range
• Good hands on development and designing RDBMS solutions experience
• Excellent knowledge of object-oriented technologies and experience in distributed scalable architecture
• Experience with Google Web Toolkit (GWT) and IOS, Android programming concepts will be added advantage
• Asynchronous message communication/integration technologies (ActiveMQ), JMS, MQTT, AMQP
• Experience in working with different project execution methodologies like waterfall and agile
• Excellent communication and presentation, analytical and problem-solving skills

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Technical ownership of an entire line of business or a horizontal platform, which extends to involvement in the full software development life cycle with stringent needs on time to market and quality of product (functional and non-functional aspect)
• Ownership of complex software architectures, operational metrics, and running the day to day business operations
• Designing and defining the interaction between the different components and teams.
• Work closely with peers and product managers to develop great technical design and approach for new product development. Identify, track and mitigate risks to the product
• Definition of, and compliance with, a world-class build/release and configuration management process
• Proven experience of leading delivery teams and contribution to architectural and design decisions and successfully launch customer facing product using above tech
• Oversee the development of strategic systems strategy and IT architecture (strategic blueprints, roadmaps, migration, application, standards, and methods for Business, Application, Information and Technical Architecture) to achieve business, strategic and tactical plans Modernize, converge, simplify and innovate the solutions architecture
• Consult with technology (application, infrastructure) development projects to fit systems or infrastructure to architecture, and identify when it is necessary to modify the solution architecture to accommodate project needs
• Identify the technologies that would be used for the product and recommend the development methodology and framework
• Ensure that the product is adequately defined & documented
• Enforce compliance with coding guidelines using code reviews etc.
• Build solutions which are easily configurable, deploy-able and secure. Responsible for planning product iterations & releasing iterations on schedule
• Architect comprehensive solutions across the entire architectural stack - Business Process, Application Services, Data, Infrastructure, Operations, and Security etc.
• Broad knowledge of contemporary technologies and frameworks blended with experience of working with relevant ones (Spring, REST/JSON, Oracle, JMS)
• Excellent understanding of messaging and system integration concepts, Experience developing event-driven solutions is a big plus, Ability to define and govern APIs
• Advanced knowledge of multi-threading concepts. Should be able to identify concurrency issues and optimize components design
• Mentor developers for difficult tasks & provide technical advice and guidance to the Tech Leads
