Docker Docker, Linux, AWS,Kubernetes, Jenkins 8+ years of experience with sound knowledge of Linux, Docker and Kubernetes. Should have sound hands on knowledge on any public cloud AWS/Azure/GCP. Knowledge of Microservice architecture features is highly desired with Agile development methodology. Tech Skills: Mandatory o Hands on experience in installing and managing Kubernetes cluster / Openshift cluster On-Premise or On-Cloud o Experience with Docker containers and developing Docker images using Dockerfile o Experience in designing, implementing and managing CI/CD on Kubernetes cluster using these preferred tools SCM : GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket CI Tool: GitLab CI, Jenkins, Azure Devops, AWS CodePipeline Build: Maven, Gradle Container Image scanning: Aquasec, RedHat Quay Artifacts management: JForg Deployment: Helm Charts Testing: Selenium, Jmeter Code Quality: SonarQube o Experience in Helm chart development o Hands on experience on any public cloud AWS/Azure/GCP especially on provisioning and managing IAAS resources like VM, Virtual Network, Storage, Load Balancer, Security Groups , IAM o Experience in Linux administration with shell scripting Desirable o Experience in Service Mesh for Kubernetes ( ISTIO) o Experience in configuring Elasticsearch based logging solution for Kubernetes cluster o Experience in Prometheus monitoring for Kubernetes cluster o Experience with Terraform or Ansible for cloud platform provisioning o Experience in Secret and SSL certificate management using Hashicorp Vault for Kubernetes cluster o Python scripting o Knowledge in YAML and JSON o Knowledge in Microservice architecture features like Chaos Engineering Circuit Breaking Canary deployment Distributed Tracing o Hands on experience in installing and configuring Open Source and COTS software (web servers, application servers, databases, messaging middleware) Certifications: Certified Kubernetes Administrator or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer or RedHat certified specialist in Openshift Administration ( EX280) Responsibilities though not limited to following: Design a highly available Cloud native platform based on Kubernetes to enable CI/CD across multiple environments like Dev, Staging and Production Implement the Kubernetes / Openshift Cluster with the CI/CD tool sets Design and implement a CI/CD pipeline based on customer requirement Troubleshoot and fix Kubernetes / Openshift cluster issues Troubleshoot and fix CI/CD pipeline failures Develop Helm Charts for deployments on Kubernetes / Openshift cluster Automate the implementation of Kubernetes / Openshift cluster Automate Day2 operations in Kubernetes Cluster management Communicate technical concepts effectively, both written and orally, as well as the interpersonal skills required to collaborate effectively with colleagues across diverse technology teams. Rapidly and effectively, understand and translate requirements into technical solutions. Provide on-going operational support including upgrades, defect fixes and any Process change activities.
