Information Services department is seeking a dot net developer with five (5) or more years of experience in designing and developing systems using .Net Technology stack. The candidate must be self-motivated, inquisitive, and detail oriented with the ability to achieve deadlines while effectively within a team environment. - Job Description Use Microsoft technologies: C#, SQL, MVC, Dot Net Core, Windows forms, and WebAPI to develop technical solutions to complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity Design, code, test, debug and document software according to the functional requirements. Develop, maintain and support programs/ tools for company. Analyse, diagnose and resolve errors related to their applications. Help define project plans requiring software development. Provide technical expertise across multiple areas of application development Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis as required Follow all department standards and methodologies Communicate effectively and clearly, in writing and verbally, in one-on-one and group presentation situations Create new and extend existing operational documentation Consult colleagues concerning maintenance and performance of software systems Required Experience Around 5 years of overall IT experience Demonstrated proficiency in .NET development, C#, WebAPI, MVC, Windows Forms, ADO.NET, XML, XSLT, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX and jQuery Demonstrated proficiency with SQL Server 2008 and above. Experience in requirements evaluation (translating functional specifications into technical solutions), requirements gathering, and requirements definition. Strong analytical, organizational and hands-on problem solving skills, Web technologies, awareness of current Web trends and technologies. Must be highly motivated and dependable with excellent communication skills. Must be able to work independently with minimal inputs. IT related tertiary qualification such as Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field. Nice to have: Experience on .Net Core Experience on Single Page Application development A good understanding of ORMs (for e.g. Dapper, Entity Framework etc.) Good understanding of service oriented architecture. Experience on any third party control libraries like Telerik is a plus. ,
