Description

We are seeking .NET Winforms Lead to join our Microsoft Solutions team at India (Pune) Development Center. In this role, you will design and implement technological solutions for clients on the .NET stack. Your job is to provide hands-on design and development expertise and technical abilities to deliver quality software solutions. Job Code: SIL-IN/TECH/.NET/003 Job Responsibilities:

  • Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications following established architecture standards as well as software development and project management methodologies.
  • Participates in gathering business requirements and assessing existing architectures and resources.
  • Involve in ensuring a quality technical design that satisfies the business requirements of the client.
  • Involve in package evaluations and recommendations, communicating the technological details of the project to the business users and works with the client.
  • Within the overall project delivery, plans and leads various new application development and enhancement projects. Coordinate and communicate with the other tracks and disciplines involved in the project.
  • Work with the Project Manager and Account Manager, help develop project plans; identify development and project risks and collaborates on mitigation strategies.
  • Provide strategic vision for expanding current functionality and for the development and deployment of new features and modules.
  • Work with application development team in delivering the project and deliverables within time and with good quality.
  • Works closely with the end user community and IT to resolve production system issues.
  • Assess requirements for new and enhanced functionalities; identifies impact on existing applications, operating systems, hardware and networks.
  • Perform unit testing, oversee quality assurance of applications through system testing; establishes processes for and conducts code review.
  • Keep up-to date with latest technologies, trends and provides inputs/recommendations to project manager or the architect as required.
Candidate Profile:
  • Education: B.E. / B. Tech / MCA / MCS
  • Experience: Overall 7 years of experience in .NET Technologies.
  • Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong technical knowledge of .NET Technologies such as C#, Windows Forms
  • Strong knowledge of Object-Oriented Principles.
  • Good knowledge of Windows forms and strongly typed dataset is essential.
  • Strong experience in SQL Server and ADO.Net.
  • Good knowledge of Multi-threading, LAMBDA expressions, Reflections, Generics, Delegates, etc. is required.
  • Knowledge of MVC, WCF, Microsoft Reporting (RDLC) is not mandatory but will be an added advantage.
  • Understanding of design patterns and principles will be an advantage.
  • Excellent Communication, presentation, problem-solving and team working skills.
  • Ability to understand the requirement specification and implement a quick solution.
  • Familiarity with source code configuration tools.
  • Must have exposure to agile development methodologies.
