Job Description

    We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Drilling Supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of drilling operations, ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. The Drilling Supervisor will work closely with engineers, geologists, and other team members to plan and execute drilling programs. This role requires a deep understanding of drilling techniques, equipment, and safety protocols. The Drilling Supervisor will also be responsible for managing the drilling crew, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively. This is a challenging and rewarding position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.Responsibilities
    • Oversee daily drilling operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
    • Coordinate with engineers and geologists to plan drilling programs.
    • Manage and supervise the drilling crew.
    • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental regulations.
    • Maintain and troubleshoot drilling equipment.
    • Monitor drilling progress and make adjustments as needed.
    • Prepare and submit daily drilling reports.
    • Conduct safety meetings and drills.
    • Ensure proper handling and disposal of drilling waste.
    • Coordinate logistics for equipment and supplies.
    • Implement cost-saving measures without compromising safety or quality.
    • Train new crew members on safety and operational procedures.
    • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide project updates.
    • Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
    • Respond to emergencies and incidents promptly and effectively.
    Requirements
    • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in drilling operations.
    • Strong knowledge of drilling techniques and equipment.
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
    • Knowledge of safety and environmental regulations.
    • Ability to manage and motivate a team.
    • Proficiency in using drilling software and tools.
    • Willingness to work in remote locations and on a rotational schedule.
    • Valid drivers license and ability to travel as needed.
    • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
    • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
    • Experience with budget management and cost control.
    • First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
