Job Description

We are looking forward to an EDI Analyst in Eaton s Information Technology Centre, based in Pune, India. Your essential responsibilities include: 1)Has adequate knowledge about Sterling Integrator EDI tool.2)Has experience and working knowledge of EDI concepts including standards such as EDIFACT, ANSI X12 and IDOC.3)Provide translation support for all EDI processes and systems. Function as a primary point of contact for any ERP/SI related support requests.4)Knowledge on SAP EDI side of things and IDOCS would be an added advantage.5)Evaluate and analyze customer/supplier EDI business requirements, arrange communication setup, develop SI (Sterling Integrator) maps as necessary to implement mutually agreeable EDI solutions as required by different Eaton groups.6)Collecting requirements, design and development of Sterling Business Processes (BP), maps, and Trading Partner configurations, as well as testing and deployment of the solution.7)Coordinate the daily EDI operations.8)Create and maintain EDI maps and business processes.9)Handle development projects independently and provide project management for runner and repeater projects.10)Responsible for generating and maintaining process flow/procedure documentation as it relates to EDI.11)Creating and modifying business process in BPML to build scenario for partner or systems integration.12) API knowledge within EDI domain would be an added advantageQualifications

  • Bachelor in Engineering/B.E/B. Tech and/or required equivalent.
  • Overall 4-8 years of EDI Development or Support experience.
  • Experience on SAP, Oracle ERP EDI side of things will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal at all levels of the Organization.
