Role Summary:BHGE seeks an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to lead and perform design , manufacturing and sustaining functions for Smart Services - Well Bore Intervention products at the BHGE GEC center in Pune. Smart Services is a new and growing section of the Completions and Well Intervention Product Line. Our purpose is to bring digital technologies to Well Completion , Well Intervention and other servicesEssential Responsibilities:BHGE seeks an experienced Electronics Hardware Engineer to lead and perform design , manufacturing and sustaining functions for Smart Services - Well Bore Intervention products at the BHGE GEC center in Pune. Smart Services is a new and growing section of the Completions and Well Intervention Product Line. Our purpose is to bring digital technologies to Well Completion , Well Intervention and other services. The group consists of electrical , mechanical and software engineers working together to provide the customer with key insights into the downhole environment during these events. Works primarily in Electrical engineering in product development , design , sustaining , or RD. Plans and conducts research , design and development of standard engineering assignments. Selects engineering techniques to solve problems and makes sound design recommendations. Assesses results for applicability , validity and conformance to specifications. Usually works with minimum supervision. Assists in proQualifications:Bachelor s Degree in Electrical Electronics Engineering from a recognized university with excellent academic record Have minimum of 6 years industry experienceMaster s degree in the field of Electrical Electronics Engineering preferredExperience with Board Design and Electronics design tools for e.g. Altium Designer or similar productDesign and development experience Analog , Digital , Microcontrollers , sensors , etc.Exposure to interfaces RS232 , RS485 , I2C , SPI , CAN , etc.Desired Characteristics:Preferred Certified Interconnect Designer (CID) basic or advanced.Electro/ mechanical design experience desired.Experience in qualification testing e.g. vibration testing , and temperature testing.Clear written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExposure on DFMEA.Project Management SkillsAbility to work autonomously within strategic guidelinesAbility to work to strict deadlinesPresentation skillsSkills in the use of Microsoft office packages , SAP and identifying process improvementsKnowledge on RoHS , WEEE , CE etc.Ability to work in a team and use own initiativeCapability to think strategically and manage changeExperience of working with a wide range of stakeholders including operations , sourcing , Product management and Project management organizations Experience of working in a matrix , multicultural environment,
