Job Description

*Administers one or more elements of employee benefits programs which may include health, welfare, and retirement plans, in compliance with plan design and government legislation. Assists in resolution of benefits related issues for plan participants. Produces required benefits administration reports and forms for internal and external reporting and compliance requirements. Supports the design and delivery of benefit plans, programs and procedures.Guides and assists employees with benefits related processes, investigates participant issues, and provides problem resolution or indentifies the issue for further review.Handles routine to moderately complex plan interpretations and inquiries; provides recommendations to benefit related issues.Manages standard processes with oversight from more senior administrators and managers.Generates required internal and external reports for benefits program administration; conducts analysis to evaluate benefit plan and strategy effectiveness and to support required legislative filings.Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for implementing benefit coverage.Implements changes to administrative processes.Assists in the delivery of training to employees and line human resources.Serves as a contact between the external benefits suppliers, employee groups and line human resources., *SkillsTraining Delivery - Instructs learners in a manner that engages and adjusts to individual and group needs resulting in knowledge, skills and abilities that can be applied on the job.Data Analytics - Discovers, interprets and communicates qualitative and quantitative data; presents conclusions and outcomes that enable data driven business decisions.Human Resources Consulting - Collaborates with partners to observe the environment and apply sound judgement informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, while balancing the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.Human Resources Data Management - Acts on people data to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and legislative requirements.Compensation and Benefits Administration - Administers policies following Cummins plan design to ensure accurate and consistent application of Cummins policies in order to make and communicate appropriate compensation and benefits decisions; complies with local legislative and tax requirements to ensure Cummins policies meet governance and legislative requirements.Benefits Design - Designs and develops programs, policies, processes and tools using appropriate methodologies to advance organizational goals; evaluates market competitiveness, best practice and recommendations for Cummins in accordance with established processes that aid in the design of organizational programs.Human Resources Business Process Execution - Manages the execution of Human Resources business processes, seeking efficiency, accuracy, positive business performance outcomes and operational agility; integrates activities across processes as needed; assures compliance with process and legal requirements; effectively balances process requirements and business leader needs.Collaborates - Building partnerships and working collaboratively with others to meet shared objectives.Communicates effectively - Developing and delivering multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.Customer focus - Building strong customer relationships and delivering customer-centric solutions.Decision quality - Making good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward.Demonstrates self-awareness - Using a combination of feedback and reflection to gain productive insight into personal strengths and weaknesses.Optimizes work processes - Knowing the most effective and efficient processes to get things done, with a focus on continuous improvement.Education, Licenses, CertificationsCollege, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.ExperienceMinimal relevant work experience required.1.Ensures compliance with internal controls related to PF, ESIC, Profession Tax, Gratuity, TDS and LWF and complete all Compli-Plus tasks2.Administers and ensure National Pension Scheme, Superannuation Retirement Benefit program as per the Trust rules3.Guides and assists employees in Help desk with benefits related processes, investigates participant issues, and provides problem resolution4.Handles routine to moderately complex plan interpretations and inquiries; provides recommendations to benefit related issues.5.Generates required internal and external reports for benefits program administration; conducts analysis to evaluate benefit plan and strategy effectiveness and to support required legislative filings.6.Maintains benefit records and prepares documents necessary for administration of processes.7.Provides customer support to all the sites including data requests, training, support line HR in handling employee queries and Serves as a contact between the external benefits suppliers and line HR8.Participates in continuous improvement initiatives; Streamline processes by using automation.9.Raise Purchase Requisition / Purchase Order/ GRR for managing CBS Benefits operations.10.Assist in Actuary valuation of Gratuity, Superannuation on half yearly basis for all scope entities11. Relevant work experience required 1 year to 3 years
