No one will do more to empower customers with the innovations, technology and resources they need to meet the challenges of the future.Engineer (Application Support) will be part of the Marketing team and create Revit/ AutoCAD 3D families of lighting fixtures and lighting controls products using the Autodesk Revit software. The incumbent will need to have working knowledge of the Revit family process. The incumbent will create new Revit families as well as update existing Revit families as needed. The incumbent will need to interpret when to create models parametrically and always take file size into consideration. The incumbent will need use conditional statements in formulas to define actions in a Revit family that depend on the state of other parameters, when applicable. The incumbent is to acquire thorough knowledge of and comply to Cooper Lighting Solutions BIM Content Standards; in addition to, foundational understanding of the Autodesk Revit Model Content Style Guide v2.1 and the Autodesk SEEK Revit Content Checklist. The incumbent will ensure that provided tasks are tracked and handled in an expeditious manner.We re looking for Application support engineer who ll be responsible for any testing infrastructure or setup related to all the electronics and electrical projects which local engineers teams are working upon. You ll be part of the Signify team in Pune, India which develops solutions for lighting mostly in connected lighting space. So, knowledge of basic electronics, key soldering techniques, knowledge of test/measurement equipment awareness must be in your DNA.What you ll do
• Produces native Revit lighting products proficiently from the template stage to sample project testing.
• Understands and produces Revit type catalog, when applicable.
• Coordinates receipt of all information for the preparation of the Revit lighting product model creation.
• Follows up on outstanding workload and maintain efficient turnaround times.
• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
What you ll need
• Bachelor s Degree in engineering.
• 3-5 years of Experience.
• Strong PC skills, including Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Communicates in English, both verbal and written
• Preferred AutoCAD 3D / Revit Modeling Experience
