- Experience of performance and emission optimization on common rail diesel engines-Knowledge and complete understanding of EMS system and diesel engine calibration for automotive, genset and off-highway applications -Hands on experience on calibration tools preferrably INCA, Concerto -Understanding of regulations and test procedures required for applicable Indian emission norms BS4/BS6/CPCB2/CEV BSIII/BSIV -Strong know-how of calibration software documents and calibration techniques on steady state/transient as well as on application -Experience on vehicle level calibration for performance, drivability and fuel economy -Basic understanding of engine diagnostics and OBD II -Planning and execution of test plans, robust calibration DOE and data analysis -Engine hardware selection to meet target performance and emission -Interaction with suppliers for hardware development eg.
