Job Description

The candidate shall be responsible for developing Automated test scripts and testing for desktop applications in Daniel. He/She should understand the requirements and application to validate the same for various Ultrasonic Flowmeter products. As a part of this role, he/she shall plan, design, script and execute a variety of Test cases for flow transmitters.The individual should be self-motivated, creative and proactive, able to work in a fast-paced environment including multiple platforms and architectures, diverse technologies and lab environments. The individual should have an understanding of SDLC processes and the QA lifecycle and methodology.Responsibilities-

  • Analyze product requirements.
  • Design Automated test cases & scripts based on test requirements using Test Complete tool.
  • Interact with product management, project management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the Test project and testing objectives.
  • Create Test Setups, test conditions and create, modify, execute scripts to address complete test coverage of different test platforms.
  • Use existing tools and techniques or device new techniques to improvise / optimize test life cycle.
  • Analyze and report test results.
  • Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.
  • Perform Manual and automated testing of ultrasonic meters.
  • Interact with various stake holders to collect and define Test requirements along with development of interface files.
  • Integration testing of interface files with device and various host systems, report generation and maintenance support.
Qualification -
  • B.E in Electronics, Electronics & Instrumentation, Instrumentation & Control.
  • ISTQB certified (Minimum - Foundation level)
Experience & Skill Sets:
  • Overall Testing Exp 5 to 7 Yrs. with minimum 3 yrs. Test Automation experience
  • Minimum 2 years of working experience on TestComplete is a must.
  • Should have strong experience in Script Development, Jscript Knowledge, Coding Best Practices, Object Handling and Error Handling.
  • Testing of windows application for embedded products.
  • Good knowledge of various automation test architectures implementations
  • Working experience of desktop GUI application testing
  • Hands on experience in automated test case design, pseudo code development, scripting and various functional and non-functional testing types
  • Knowledge of field instrumentation and industrial protocols like Modbus, HART, industrial networks, basics of industrial host systems is added advantage.
  • Well versed in Agile project execution and management methodologies
  • Must be flexible, independent and self-motivated
  • Good Team player and demonstrate continuous learning ability.
  • Result orientated and focus on attention to details.
  • Good communication skill
