Job Description and Qualifications

POSITION SUMMARY Source a graduate engineer having 10 - 12 years of experience in the Quality Assurance field in Oil & Gas industry. The Quality Engineer is responsible to assist in business management system (BMS) sustenance & documentation. Purpose Quality Engineer position is to lead / support in various BMS sustenance and development initiatives and m aintain and improve the BMS in India consistent with the global annual plan ensuring the products, plants and services delivered by the organization meet internal and external customer requirements, are consistently executed in accordance with approved global and regional procedures. Nature and Scope The Quality Engineer reports directly to the Regional Quality Manager India and is part of the Quality & CI group of GEMTE. The Quality Engineer works closely with the engineering, project execution and procurement teams to ensure the continual improvement of the GEMTE BMS. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Responsible for on - going quality management system process maintenance and effectiveness of operation
• Facilitate necessary documentation requirements, as needed
• Collect, analyze and report data on the performance of the quality management system and any need for improvement
• Ensure the promotion of awareness of customer requirements throughout the organization.
• Control, execute and maintain the audit schedule. Conduct internal audits as per global and regional plan and manage non - conformities issued including follow up for timely and effective closure of them
• Liaise with external parties, certification bodies on matters relating to the quality management system.
• Coordinate and facilitate regional quality board review meetings
• Ensure that company third party accreditations are obtained and maintained (ISO 9001)
• Ensure all company policies, procedures, and work instructions are documented in a clear, simple and concise manner.
• Support training all company personnel in the documented procedures and ensure personnel have received appropriate training and are assessed as competent to perform tasks.
• Support supplier quality management process quality audits, qualifications and inspections, as needed.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Qualifications

• Bachelor s Degree in Engineering
• Certified auditor for ISO 9001
• Advanced knowledge of Quality System, ISO9001, Lean Six Sigma certification will be added advantage
• Excellent English language proficiency is required (oral and written) and language of country origin

Experience

• At least 10 years experience in Quality assurance field in Oil & Gas or similar industry
• Experience with Quality related work processes, management systems , process re - engineering and the ISO - 9001 international quality standard
• Experience may include: engineering and design, project management, contracts and procurement, vendor development , operations, manufacturing, inventory management, fabrication, construction, domestic and international design codes, and a basic understanding of the worldwide marketplace, customers, and business team requirements.
• Exposure to Business improvement projects and skilled in MIS systems
• Experienced in supplier quality management best practices preferably in a multinational organization
