Job Description

    • The primary responsibility of this role is to develop System/Sub-system/Component level Plant/mathematical/analytical models and deploy models for assessing performance of product/systems for various Eaton businesses (Vehicle, Aerospace, e-mobility, and Electrical). Incumbent is expected to:
    • Perform Power electronics modeling and performance analysis of various products in their working environment
    • Partner with global & local teams, understand the design intent, develop and validate analysis models to substantiate the engineering designs
    • Lend technical expertise and engineering recommendations to projects/processes
    • Execute moderately complex engineering assignments independently and by collaborating with cross-functional teams
    • Drive effective internal and external communications for success on projects
    QualificationsRequirement
    • Master s degree in Electrical/ Electronics/ Instrumentation/ Controls from reputed institute with Power Electronics as a specialization
    • 0-2 Year
    • Power Electronics domain knowledge
    • Strong knowledge of Plant and control model development with a clear understanding of model in loop development
    • Candidate should have demonstrated the ability to effectively communicate thought process and solve technical queries
    • Working experience with global team
    • Develops simulation models of Electrical and power electronics system/sub-system/components using Matlab Simulink/SaberRD/Simplorer/PSCAD/Cyme
    • Analyzes & optimizes designs through plant (mathematical) model and controls development
    • Delivers deep insights through system modeling and simulations for robust product development to meet all performance requirements
    • Provides technical information and engineering recommendations for improvement of product designs and associated processes
    • Ensures on time delivery and quality performance results in all work deliveries
    • Regularly communicates project updates effectively to all internal/ external stakeholders
    • Acts as a flag bearer for Analysis First strategy by deploying developed simulation methodologies to design superior products for Eaton
