Job Description

This exciting role offers opportunity to: Requirement:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Electrical & Electronics)
  • 6+ years of experience in validation of Electrical products.
  • Hands on Experience in Testing of LV & MV Switchgears, Circuit Breakers, ACBs, MCBs, RCCBs, MCCBs, Panel boards, RMUs, VCBs, Contactors, Motor Starters, PCC, MCC, Wiring Devices, Plug and Sockets etc.
  • Sound knowledge of IEC/IEEE/ANSI/NEMA/UL Standards.
  • Knowledge of Electromechanical & Electronics industrial products.
  • Experience in competitor tear downs and benchmarking for Electrical Products.
  • Through knowledge and ability to interpret UL, IEC, ANSI, NEMA and other applicable standards for electrical products is a must.
  • Thermal lab, Dielectric lab, Environment lab, Life/ endurance test lab experience desired.
  • Sound knowledge on Electrical Test Safety and 5S.
  • Thorough knowledge of ISO:17025, UL WTDP program and KEMA for test lab.
  • Must have experience to create and maintain work instructions, process and procedures, all documentation and test reports as per ISO:17025 guideline.
  • Measurement of uncertainty, inter-lab comparison and Gauge R&R study
  • Knowledge of test stand design, troubleshooting and lab instruments
  • 8D, RCA and CAPA
  • Proficiency in PLM/ERP tools like Enovia, SAP, Oracle.
  • DMAIC, Continuous Improvements, Kaizen
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes and product engineering tools
  • Knowledge of LabView software, National Instruments, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC s) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI s) used for the control and automation of custom systems built as per application
  • Knowledge of IoTs & Industry 4.0.
QualificationsRequirement:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Electrical)
  • 4-6 years of experience in validation of Electro-mechanical products.
  • Hands on Experience in Testing of LV & MV Switchgears, Breakers, MCB / MCCB, PCC, MCC etc.
  • Sound Knowledge of IEC/ISO:17025. Experience in defining & implementing the ISO requirements in test lab.
  • Measurement of Uncertainty.
  • Work instructions preparation for test stands.
  • Knowledge on Electromechanical & Electronics industrial products.
  • Sound knowledge of IEC/ISO/IEEE/NEMA/ANSI/UL electrical product standards & test procedures.
  • 5S, Kaizen, Continuous Improvement, Cost saving / cost out projects.
  • Basics of calibration management system.
  • Good presentation skills.
  • Sound knowledge on Electrical Test Safety
  • Proficiency in PLM/ERP tools like Oracle, SAP etc.
  • Knowledge on Labview, National Instruments (NI), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC s) and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI s) used for the control and automation of custom systems built.
