Job Description

Optics Simulation

Perform optics simulation using TracePro
Propose design options considering application beam requirements, space constraints & manufacturability

Design optics for LED lighting

Design of new optic (lens / reflectors /refractors) for variety of luminaires
Work with cross team engineers and suppliers for optics development
Perform iterations / modifications the design with quick turnaround time
Work with internal / external test labs for Photometry testing

Identify Innovation opportunities

Technology watch on latest trends in optics, LED technologies
Develop innovative solutions for low cost / smaller size optics

M.E./M.Tech in Illumination engineering

MSc. Physics, MSc. Optoelectronics

0-2 years experience in design Industrial light optical lens , reflectors, refractors for LED lighting

Knowledge of lighting fundamental & luminaries

Understanding of LED lights

Knowledge of non-imaging optics / concept of secondary lens , reflectors

Knowledge of lighting application, polar plots, photometry

Familiar or hands on of Ray tracing software s like TracePro, Light Tools, etc

Basic understanding of Dialux, AGI 32 & AutoCAD
