EIIC operates through its two state-of-the-art campuses located at Kharadi and Magarpatta City along with a world class 70000 Sq ft lab in Pune. Today, EIIC s current research and technology efforts are focused on global trends that are driving our future including: energy systems, intelligent machines, advanced materials and additive manufacturing. EIIC is focused on augmenting Eaton s vision of improving the quality of life and environment through the use of intelligent power management technologies and services .Head and Engineering leader for driving Eatons growth for high growth regions and to drive technology/product innovation for addressing adjacency and brand new spacesResponsibilities

1. Role will lead the technology areas spaning across the different product segments starting with industrial sector products covering Vehicle, E-Mobility and Aerospace.
2. The role will additionally collaborate closely with Eatons electrical sector and research labs to explore opportunities and technology development.
3. Regional growth responsibilities include, partnering with corresponding business team to identify and define market opportunities in high growth regions, design and launch of new products catering to the needs of customers in these markets, after market customer support for maintaining and custom designs for large customers.
4. Ability to conceptualize product design and architecture, platform approaches driving speed, efficient structure of investment, cost and reuse by design will be essential to succeed in the role.
5. Speed, innovation, working with customers, quick working prototypes, acting like a local player, building business case and then converting full product life cycle is what one should expect in the role.
6. A very entrepreneurial role to fuel Eatons growth in these high growth markets.
7. The new space technology areas for the different divisions are driven globally and regionally through the long term strategic process and this role will build brand new teams and technology for these new areas, evaluate partnerships and M&A, identify business opportunity, prove initial business case and drive organic revenue streams through new offerings.
8. Among several applicable technology, power electronics background is a key corner stone to this role as vehicle and aircrafts move towards electrification

QualificationsEducation level required

• Minimum education for this position is a Masters in Electrical / Automotive/Aerospace Engineering, with experience in leading an interdisciplinary program and/or team. PhD in Power Electronics & Drives would be preferable

Years and area of experience required

• Minimum 18 years of industrial experience in multinational engineering organization with experience in regional leadership role.

Technical knowledge

• Expertise in technology in areas of mobility (Vehicle & Aerospace)
• Expertise in Power electronics to drive electrification
