The successful candidate will use their experience in systems administration for Vmware, vSphere, Vrops and Networking environments to render infrastructure support for Vblock hardware and virtual machines in the cloud. This includes managing operating system installations and patching, application installations and patching (App Servers, DB Servers), managing network and VLAN configurations, setting up VPNs and security controls, managing backup processes and environments, managing systems monitoring and alerts, and supporting customer s virtual environments. To be successful you will need a strong technical orientation; be a creative problem solver; be motivated to work on multi technology platform. UCS, vSphere Technical/Functional Skills -MUST HAVE SKILLS vBlock Engineer with UCS, VMware & vSphere is Must Experience in VRA, VRO, VROPS and SRM The Administrator needs to be proficient in all VMware practices and be able to manage all opportunities leading to revenue Strong Understanding of vBlock solutions, UCS, VMware products, vSphere , ESXi ,VROPs, VRA Experience in Storage, VROPS and SRM is Plus Detail JD Knowledge in Adding Removing hosts from vCenter datacentre, vMotion, DRS clustering, VH &FT Creation of Virtual machine templates and snapshots Implementation of UCS architecture and Upgrade of UCS components Experience on Creating and customizing Associating Service Profiles Experience In various Pools and Policies in UCS Knowledge on Fiber channel switches MDS 9K ,VMAXVNX OR Powerpath & UIM, Zoning, Masking etc. Knowledge on nexus Switches Upgrading vCenter components of UCS architecture and Upgrade of UCS components Excellent communications and interpersonal skills Knowledge on Ansible and other scripting methods ITIL v3 Foundation Analytical problem solving skills Process & Documentation: Preparing documents knowledge database, work instructions etc. Working knowledge on any ticketing tool. Ticket support systems such as SNOW. Experience in generating reports & doing call analysis Availability Should be able work in 24*7 Shifts On-call support Skills and qualifications: Good communication skills both written and verbal.
