Job Description

The primary responsibilities include: Serving as the technical point of contact for maintaining and enhancing the Boomi processes / interfaces.Working closely with VIT System Analysts and business super users to capture, document, and verify the requirements of the project stakeholders and end users.Perform fit-gap analysis and detailed estimation for Boomi development.Delivery of Functional and Technical design documents for Boomi development.Perform preventive and corrective maintenance practices like root cause analysis to remove and prevent defects.Serving as an escalation point for the production support team. This role will also offer growth opportunities in two ways. First the candidate filling this role will have the opportunity to learn additional applications the landscape of Varian s Sales/Service solution includes not only Salesforce.com but also Big Machines, DocuSign and more. The role will offer the opportunity to learn about integration with Varian s back-end SAP ERP system. The second type of growth opportunity offered by this role is in the area of project management. Candidates with PM experience or interest will be considered for leadership roles on projects.Areas of Focus An understanding of contemporary requirements gathering, analysis, validation, and management practices. Experience working with cross-functional teams across all levels of the organization.Design, configure, develop, and execute Boomi assignments.Configure platform to meet requirements including installation and configuration of Boomi Atoms and Connectors.Pro-actively identify areas of improvement and functional gaps in existing Boomi setups.Support the design, implementation, and rollout of Salesforce/Boomi releases to the Varian Medical Systems.Able to work independently with concurrent projects, be part of full application development cycle including, debugging, code review, unit testing, basic troubleshooting especially with Agile development experience. Take great pride and ownership in work Responsibilities Qualifications Required: BE, B Tech, MSc, MCA or equivalent degree in Computer Science. Experience (Years): 2-5 yearsTechnologies required: Dell Boomi Skills: 4 years of Boomi development experience with strong knowledge with Boomi Connectors, Atom setups, Profiles, Mappings, and Process development.Good knowledge of Boomi administration which includes Connection licensing, User alerts, Process troubleshooting and automation.Well conversed with of other integration technologies like Web services, SOAP, JSON/XML etc.Design integration solutions for complex business operations which include data modeling, ETL and integrate data from external systems into Salesforce and vice versa using Boomi.Experience with business process modeling/mapping, sequence diagrams and data mapping. Experience working with cross-functional integration efforts to load, transform, and report on data from multiple systems.Experience with Salesforce development with strong knowledge of APEX/Visualforce.Familiar with standard Salesforce functionality (SFA), workflows, data loader and validation rules Good functional knowledge of Salesforce s Sales and Service Cloud.Deep understanding of software development methodologies, design and implementation. Provide direction and guidance to the off-shore development team when it is required, and ensure that the team delivers high quality work.Self-starter who enjoys project, process and technology work.Experience in a SCRUM Agile development environment is preferredMajor Plus: Medical Device/Life Science Industry ExperienceMajor Plus: Experience with Salesforce, SAP, Service Cloud and Big Machines BML.Good written and verbal communication skills. ,
