EU Integration Architect

Job Description

IntroductionThe infrastructure running industries likes transportation, energy, insurance, banking or healthcare is quickly changing as the world s relationship with technology evolves. Our Infrastructure Architects are responsible for keeping up with the latest and greatest of these changes and using their expertise to deliver solutions that meet the needs of our customers and products.Your Role and Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions with stakeholders and external vendors to understand scope, expectations, technical content and business processes.
• Analyse customer needs and designs the integration technical solutions that will best meet those needs.
• Lead meetings with account teams, vendors and customers to ensure proper communication of the 1) project status 2) technical issues including resolutions and 3) ensure testing progress as expected.
• Gather and review available requirements and system properties to understand de-tailed technical needs to enable integrations.
• Communicate technology, timelines, and architectures to stake holders to ensure the integrations are meeting requirements and stake holder expectations.
• Create new integrations following the IS Principles and overall Architecture.
• Re-deploy existing integrations, customizing them to account specific requirements.
• Design and propose new architecture elements for integrations where appropriate.
• Negotiate with customers and internal teams to meet requirements, technology constraints and timelines.
• Create foundation documents to support integration: design method, format, connectivity (network), mapping and business rules.
• Provide cost input for integration solutions as required.
• Act as primary customer interface and SME during transition, requirements gathering and testing.
• Utilize Rational ClearCase to manage project documentation.
• Review, validate and design XML documents.
• Enforce and enhance XML standards supporting our canonical domain models.
• Lead system testing, which includes: providing basic test cases, facilitating bug fix-ing, retest and any new requirements.
• Validate mappings and business rules during test to ensure they meet requirements to fulfil the end to end process needs.
• Validate error handling and monitoring in testing to ensure steady state support.
• Facilitate lessons learned feedback is captured to drive long term internal improvement and better architectural methods supporting the continuous improvement of iteration Services.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Overall Experience 13 to 14 yrs of experience in IT Industry
• Min 10+ Yrs needed in Service management)
• Thorough knowledge on any ITSM tool administration
• 5+ years in support at L3,L4 with tool level workflow design, customization and enhancement development exposure
• 3 years in IPC tool knowledge (ISM/SCCD/Remedy/Service Center)
• 2 Years exposure in DB2 or 3 Years exposure in SQL
• Experience in to work with both customers and trading partners
• Experiencing in Microsoft Windows / Windows Server
• Experience in UNIX/AIX/Linux server and XML
• Ability to work with multiple teams in matrix environment
• Generic Problem Determination/Troubleshooting skills
• Identification and prioritization of changes to continually improve
• Event management process, data and platforms (i.e. Tivoli Enterprise Con-sole/NetCool)

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Developing for or administering J2EE application server (e.g., Websphere) applications preferred
• Programming experience developing database-driven business applications preferred.
• Proven oral and written communications, interpersonal and human relations skills.
• Formal presentation skills are a plus.
• Experience with XML, Json, Jython, Python,Javascript, Message Queue (JMS, MQ etc)
