With this end in view to organise, supervise and co-ordinate the functions of his/ her department for safety, cleanliness, general maintenance order and establishment renovationJOB REQUIREMENTS5. Duties and Responsibilitiesa. To supervise all housekeeping operations and to take daily inspection rounds of the Hotelb. To check the departmental log book maintained by the supervisorsc. To maintain liaison with the laundryd. Responsible for the stock and upkeep of all room and F&B linen in the hotel.e. Responsible for stock and upkeep of all hotel uniformsf. To plan departmental budget and to ensure effective inventory controlsg. To plan and schedule all. renovations and regular maintenance of rooms in advance, in consultation with the front office manager and the chief engineerh. To check on lost and found property controlsi. To see to guest requests, VIPs, baby sitting and call on ailing guestsj. To ensure that all equipment required for the cleaning and maintenance of rooms and public area are kept in good working conditionk. To organise pest control schedules for the entire hotel in coordination with various departments.l. To ensure the gardening, horticulture and flower arrangements of the hotel are as per the prescribed standardsm. To participate in the selection of staff for the departmentn. To plan training programmes and train supervisory and other staff in the department with the assistance of the training managero. To take performance reports of all the staff with the assistance of the Assistant Housekeeper and the Supervisory staffp. To attend the General Managers Meeting, F&B department Meeting and the Rooms Division Meetingq. To conduct staff meetings in the department
