Velocity Group is seeking consultants with federal government position classification experience. This position will deliver a classification services to federal client agencies. Some positions will be working directly with an automated classification and/ or staffing system. Responsibilities, among others, include: perform classification of new positions, positions with new standards, and positions in need of rewriting classification; interpret, analyze, and apply federal classification standards and guidance to determine title, series, grade, FLSA status, supervisory status; prepare or review positions and job descriptions; perform desk audits and position reviews; may develop plans for periodic classification review and update; assist agencies with implementation of automated systems ,
