Are you incredibly organized with an eye for detail Are you trustworthy in driving the business forward, always putting integrity first Were looking for someone like that to: analyze the Daily Balance Sheet to understand the impact of any balance sheet issues on the US-LST (Liquidity Stress Testing) and any other Liquidity Reporting investigate and establish the root cause of any issues with the US daily balance sheet and to propose the appropriate corrective action where an error has occurred (i.e. adjustments to upstream consumers or a journal) monitor and track issues coming out of the balance sheet analysis and connect to a program of work that remediates both tactically and strategically leverage analysis for the Liquidity Stress Testing approach to adapt for where appropriate FINMA LCR and the 2052a (US FED) reporting process. This includes an understanding of the impact of the month-end process on the daily Liquidity reporting. assist in the engagement and support of existing Liquidity remediation work to improve the Operating model and improve the accuracy and commentary of existing reporting*PolarisYour teamYou ll be an integral part of Regulatory Calculations & Controlling Services Team, based at Pune Business Solutions Center. The team focusses on calculation, control, review & filing of key regulatory metrics in Capital & Liquidity domain - e.g. RWA, Leverage Ratio Denominator and Liquidity Capital Ratio(LCR).The team works in a Liquidity regulatory environment which is dynamic and is growing in terms of size and complexity, thus requiring a proactive, dynamic, innovative and motivated individual to join the team and to quickly take on the above responsibilities. To add maximum value, the role will also require an understanding of and contribution to the other functions of the wider Financial Control/Finance group., a university degree with a strong understanding of accounting principles (preferably a CA qualification or MBA Finance from a reputed institute 8+ years of accounting and control experience, preferably in financial services min 2 years experience in analysis and calculation of LCR/NSFR or ALMM for a large financial institution regulatory reporting controlling experience(production, review & submission) in financial services industry. minimum 3-4 years of experience leading highly skilled mid-sized teams or in a specialist role covering a product line/region in-depth understanding & experience in calculation, control and reporting across one of the vectors - LCR, RWA ,LRD etc. strong hands-on experience in data analysis, validation and presentation of results (MS Excel & MS PowerPoint) experience working and collaborating with other teams across a large organization exhibit strong commitment to develop, maintain and abide by a strong control framework a strong team player, with commitment to high quality under tight deadlines a strong communicator, comfortable interacting with colleagues at all levels able to handle multiple projects and managing conflicting priorities methodical, concise and accurate, with strong attention to detail, yet able to maintain big picture and convey complex messages to senior management able to build trust and mutual respect with clients collaborate effectively across products, teams and business areas, maintaining awareness of relevant trends in the external environment to ensure delivery against targets
