This exciting role offers opportunity to:
• As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the software developer will participate in the design and development of automation solutions and firmware development in the field of analysis and modeling of electricity distribution networks and renewable energies.
• Success in this position requires the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment, strong motivation for pursuing project objectives and the ability to learn new techniques and development processes. We are looking for candidates who are able to see the bigger picture; strength in a system-level viewpoint is a must. Problem solvers who are excited about learning new technologies.
Job Responsibilities
• Design: Work with Senior and Lead engineers on existing designs to refine, update and test features.
• Deliver: Implement and test new features as part of a larger product.
• Test: Write test plans, unit tests and ensure new features are testable.
• Be an Agile Person: Participate in sprint meetings. Understand product backlog and deliver solutions in a timely manner.
• Analyze: Understand the features being implemented and how to test them.
• Be a Team Player: Working in a collaborative team-oriented environment, you will share information, value diverse ideas, partner with cross functional and remote teams
• Be Innovative: You are empowered to try new approaches and learn new technologies. Have a desire to learn and embrace new and emerging technology.
• Be an Effective Communicator: Strong stakeholder management and negotiation skills with confidence to challenge preconceptions of outcomes and solutions
QualificationsRequirement:
• Bachelor s degree in Electrical, Computer, or Software Engineering Engineering from accredited institution
• A minimum 2 years of experience in embedded software development.
• Proficiency with programming in embedded C.
• Working experience in low level interface - I2C, SPI, UART, GPIO and serial flash.
• Experience with full life cycle software development including requirements, design, development, and testing
• Experience working in Agile development teams.
• Knowledge of C++ in an embedded environment.
• Knowledge of DNP3 protocol.
• Understanding of electrical signals and processing.
• Experience with STM ARM or Nordic processors
• Knowledge of BLE
• Knowledge of IP/Cellular Communication
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to learn quickly and apply new concepts, principles, and solutions
• Possess a good sense of diplomacy and respect for colleagues
• Excellent problem solving, analytical and time management skills
