We re looking for a Senior Firmware Engineer who ll be responsible for understanding the product requirements, design, development and test back-end software for Lighting Products.You ll be part of the Signify Connected Systems and its responsibilities are building IOT based Smart Lighting products, so Problem Solving, Taking ownership, Accountability, Drive for results must be in your DNA.What you ll do
    • Enhance existing and/or develop new firmware solutions that enables the launch of new connected products (gateways, nodes), functionality and services with various wireless technologies.
    • Design, Architect and execute solutions for Connected products.
    • Work with the other firmware/software development team members when coordinating on large projects.
    • Translate requirements into software in line with project vision.
    • Participate in the definition of both the functional and non-functional requirements of the system.
    • Participate and contribute in sprint planning, demo and retrospective.
    • Participate in design and code reviews.
    What you ll need
    • Bachelors or Master s degree in Engineering with 3-5 years experience with firmware development is required.
    • Min 1 years of experience working on wireless protocols BLE /BLE Mesh/ZigBee
    • Hands on working experience with ARM based uC/SOC architectures
    • Should be able to read schematics and understand hardware designs
    • Hands on working experience in developing firmware in C/C and embedded OS platforms
    • Capable of independently architect/design/implement efficient firmware solutions
    • Demonstrated skills on end to end product firmware development in agile environment
    • Should have experience working in diverse team environment
    • Should be able to analyze complex problems and come up with solutions/proposals to fix issues
    • Talent should be capable of learning new technologies quickly and ramp up fast
