Required Exposure: Good understanding of microcontroller architecture. Embedded software development using C and assembly language. Development of drivers for various peripherals. Exposure to embedded software debugging using emulators/ debuggers. Preferred add- ons: Working experience with RH850 microcontroller using GreenHills compiler and E2 debugger. Usage of equipment to monitor memory using serial interface. Experience with Doxygen for document generation. Scripting skills(Perl/Python/VB) would be an added advantage. The selected candidate shall participate in efforts to develop the firmware for next generation 32 bit micro- controllers that is targeted at control units for Electric Vehicles. The role involves working with guidance of a lead engineer to develop drivers and the overlying basic software based on consulting data- sheets/ application notes as well as experts from the micro- controller vendor. The selected candidate shall be responsible for design and development of drivers that are modular, scalable, and compatible with Bajaj Auto s proprietary software architecture stack. He/ she shall document all code to ease usage by application developer. The candidate shall also be responsible for testing developed firmware using other tools/ equipment based on direction from lead engineer.,
