Job Description

    Define and Maintain Front end standards, best practices and design systems and ensure they are effectively implemented by the development teams.Collaborate with delivery teams during design and development phases to ensure adherence to UI architectural standards and best practices.Mentor Front end development/Support team and help them with challenges they face.Provide technical oversight and perform code reviews for multiple development efforts.Collaborate with User Experience designers on various projects to ensure design follows the best practices and standards.Help improve the Devops processes around Front end development.Participate in technology/tools evaluation related to Front end.Help develop UI Technology Roadmap and plan to move from tranditional application to modern front end.Lead Development for various Front end initiatives and adhering to the standard project management methologies at Eaton.Qualifications
    • Graduate Degree in Comp Science / Engineering / Equivalent
    • Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and high drive for results
    • Must possess ability to deal with ambiguity and to adapt to changing business needs
    • 8+ years of experience in an Agile, highly collaborative environment, with at least 2 years as an Architect.
    • 4+ years of experience in Design, Development of Component based UI Architecture framework (Angular, React, Vue)
    • Expertise in UI Development using Typescript, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap.
    • Strong understanding of approaches and techniques to optimize UI performance
    • Good understanding of User experience design principles
    • Hands-on experience of creating wireframes, storyboard, user flows and process flows to effectively communicate design ideas
    • Good understanding of web services and standards like REST, JSON, SOAP.
    • Good understanding of authentication methods like OAUTH, SAML, OpenID.
    • Experience with SQL and no-SQL databases
    • Experience with Mobile application development (advantageous)
    • Experience with Low-code application development tools (advantageous)
