Description and RequirementsFrom core to cloud to edge, BMC delivers the software and services that enable over 10,000 global customers, including 84% of the Forbes Global 100, to thrive in their ongoing evolution to an Autonomous Digital Enterprise.PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:BMC FootPrints ServiceDesk is a highly customizable and configurable service management solution that provides various capabilities helping IT organizations manage internal helpdesk, service desk, change as well as customer support functionsPRIMARY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITY:You will work with an R&D Solution team, which is responsible for conceptualizing and delivering capabilities for a Helpdesk solution. This is an excellent opportunity for you if you are passionate about addressing issues in complex environments, developing & delivering quality products. The role responsibilities include problem resolution to customer escalations, Designing and implement Product features & Enhancements. This role will also be responsible for taking complete ownership of various components of a BMC product, developed JAVA (backend) and Sencha ExtJS (or similar JavaScript based frameworks)You will be working on the entire product release lifecycle that includes defect resolution, dealing with customer engagements as well as working on product enhancements, and partner with Product Managers, UX experts, Architects, QA, and Technical Support.QUALIFICATION:

  • You must have a minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor s degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor s degree in computer science or related disciplines preferred
  • 6+ years of Java development experience with Spring boot framework.
  • 2+ years of experience on User Interface frameworks like Sencha ExtJS, Angular JS, or similar JavaScript-based frameworks
  • The candidate should have excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
