Silhouette/ Nuke/ Mocha/ Photoshop/ Silhouette- Paint/ After Effects responsibilities: Is the Functional Head for Comp and provides key creative and technical inputs and manages all the Sr TLs/ TLs Builds consensus among technology, creative and production management to create efficiencies. Serves as key technical expert on productions Serves as key technical expert on productions Ensures delivery of final composited shots to production for multiple projects/ shows and ensures final technical check. Determines technical approaches needed to achieve desired look and behaviors of the productionassets within agreed on technical pipeline Accountable for the outcomes of multiple teams in terms of being on time, on budget execution and delivery, as well as quality, of required composited images Determines technical approaches needed to achieve desired look and behaviors of the productionassets within agreed on technical pipeline Builds consensus among technology, creative and production management to maintain good project efficiencies Accountable for the outcomes of multiple departments in the technical pipeline Identifies, defines, prioritizes and oversees the implementation of tools that automate production tasks that do not require creative judgment. (e.g. Client submission etc.) Accountable for on time, on budget execution and delivery, as well as quality, of the majority of outcomes of the technical pipeline Is primarily responsible for handling the performance of the team allocated to him/ her Oversees and handles all the major functional responsibilities Ensures bidding/ pre- selling process by taking inputs from the prep. dept. TL(as and when required) Works closely with Production team for resource planning, and requirements as needed Mentors and supervises Teams &Team leads (Technical & People process) Co- coordinates with the production team and HOD Oversee the ongoing work & conducts review meetings with Leads and artists Responsible for feedback and appraisals of the team &Team leads Facilitate time bound Training & Development (T &D) for the team & Team leads Liaisons with the HR department for manpower related tasks (Resource forecasting, T& D, recruitment, talent attraction & retention strategies, leaves etc.) Responsible for in- house Creative/ Technical training/ knowledge transfers Takes the overall responsibilities given for his/ her function May handle larger size of team depending on project requirements or multiple projects being handled and team management experience Communicates with Clients for art direction, scope of work etc. via cinesync Production / artistic / technical leader responsible for a major function in the production pipeline and/ or a set of assigned sequences Shares accountability with senior leadership for assigned production outcomes Manages a function/ department that supports multiple productions Accountable for the deliverables of the department/ function Translates art / technical direction for the production into art / technical direction for the sequence Reviews and adjusts assigned art / technical content to meet creative direction Spearheads and manages research and development activities required to achieve the Directorvision Ensures function supervised has sufficient technical, capital and human resources, as well as guidelines for art / technologies to meet goals Participates in developing short- to mid- term operating plans for assigned function including resource requirements, budgets, schedules and performance standards Interacts with senior production leadership to understand and clarify creative direction and keep abreast of plans impacting assigned sequences Interacts with direct reports and peers to interpret information and improve cross- functional processes Negotiates for resources that affect assigned outcomes Oversees and allocate the work to Sr TL/ TL/ leads Ensures the ongoing training and development of direct reports Selects, motivates and reviews performance of the team Work is reviewed with minimal supervision relative to creative / technical goals and production milestones with best methods or practices Personal Excellence Team Excellence Operational Excellence Strategic Excellence Typically has 10 or more years of experience with 5 or more years of management experience.
