Department OverviewInterface Solutions is responsible for all aspects of portfolio data exchange and support trade activity, pricing and position data. The group has both an operational and a strategic mandate to fulfill. This is accomplished through a location strategy that combines presence in strategic locations close to our client needs and the utilization of standardization, centralization and scale in our operational Centre of Excellence (CoE) locations.Position OverviewThe Senior Operations Specialist is responsible for meeting the daily deliverables of the client s Service Level Agreement. The Senior Specialist will require a comprehensive understanding of the fundamentals of trade capture and data processing. The successful candidate will have the ability to follow processes and have a fundamental understanding of complex financial instruments. As a member of the Pre-Production Team, the Senior Operations Specialist is responsible to manage all aspects of daily operational deliverables through Citco s internal accounting and process management software. This team is expected to be able to provide on-time deliverables and resolve data issues.Main Job Functions/TasksProduction of daily operational deliverables in line with client service level agreements.Support the conversion of any new clients and existing migrations in line with our standard operating model.Configuration and maintenance of interfaces that are used to capture transaction data.Work with internal and external clients to resolve any open trade capture issuesAssist in verifying test results for all in house system enhancementsAssist operations staff to resolve day-to-day issuesCoaching of junior staffWork with teams within and outside of Pre-Production to identify and implement process improvementPartake in the daily hand over of open tasksEducation & ExperiencesBachelor or master level degree in accounting, finance, business, economics or other relevant professional designation (CFA, CGA, CMA, CA, CPA);Minimum 2 years in Financial Services with an exposure Operations processingProduct knowledge, Domestic, Global and OTC security markets, Fixed Income and derivative product knowledge.Comfortable with the Microsoft Office suite, specifically ExcelCompetencies:Technical Knowledge & Commercial AcumenQuality & Risk ControlDecision MakingClient ServiceDrive for Results,
