Job Description

Below is the detailed job description for the post ofGame Designer for your reference.Job Summary:We are looking for an experienced Game Designer to join our development team. If, you have excellent designing skills and a passion for Designing gaming applications, we would like to meet you.Required -

  1. Solid understanding of Game design and Game Development Life Cycle.
  2. Ability to create clear and concise GDD (Game Design Document) and Game Pitch Document.
  3. Strong knowledge of Economy design and analysis.
  4. Knowledge of creating and maintaining Navigation flow, UI and UX of the game.
  5. Knowledge of free-to-play games.
  6. Knowledge to develop levels, mechanics, rules and features for game.
  7. Understanding of the mobile games industry.
  8. Understanding of current market trend of the games.
  9. Strong understanding of in game monetization.
  10. Game analytics and driving decisions based on data.
  11. Expert in deconstruction of games and other core elements.
  12. Should be able to refer to key metrics for tuning & balance of gameplay and economy.
  13. Good at play-testing prototypes, checking and regressing for bugs and providing feedback on small-to-medium-scope features and prototypes.
Good to have -
  1. Basic knowledge of Unity 3D.
  2. Basic prototyping and coding skills in Unity.
  3. Basic Photoshop
  4. Can use drawing tablet to draw basic art
Should have familiarity and ability -
  1. Work closely with programmers in the entire game development.
  2. Collaborate with QA team and give your valuable feedback.
  3. Implementation of fun, engaging in-game events and other game content.
  4. Work with Data Analysts to define the metrics needed to analyze the game.
  5. Manage and track progress of feature and game system development
  6. Puts appropriate sketches/references for design/UI team
  7. Builds very strong monetisation strategies
  8. Good presentation skill
  9. Strong analytical skill
